A bar you need to find first before you can get a drink. A seemingly random person in the street will give you instructions at a set location in the center of Maastricht. Follow these instructions to the letter and use your group skills to solve this geocache, and we will give you the coordinates to The Bar. If you are also able to figure out the password, then the host will let you in and you can have a drink at The Bar…

It’s like a dream come true… being locked up in a bar! Once you’re inside The Bar, you can enjoy a drink together and relax after all your endeavors. But all of a sudden…. CLANG! The door slams shut and you find yourselves locked inside The Bar. The clock is ticking – you have 60 minutes to escape The Bar. Together with your team, you have to try to decipher the code to the door lock by going through a series of puzzles and riddles. Luckily, the bar will remain open during your search!
In order to play The Bar and the escape room games, you’ll need the following:
- A minimum of two fun-loving people, maximum of 4!
- Solid general knowledge, or a cell phone with an internet connection :-)
- A cell phone with Whatsapp installed
- A cell phone with Google Maps on it
- Pen and paper
- A little pace – remember, you only have 60 minutes
- Some money for a drink :-)

Your group can only consist of a maximum of 4 people. Is your group larger than that? Then you can divide your group into two teams, and you can play The Bar in two groups.
If there is more than one group, there will be a window of 90 minutes between the start of games. The group that is not playing can wait at a bar or on one of the terraces in the neighborhood.
The experience itself is our highest priority. If your group is over 4 people, The Bar will be too crowded, which will not benefit your experience. This is why a group can only consist of 4 people maximum – unfortunately we cannot make any exceptions. Because of the RIVM guidelines on Corona, your group will have to consist of 1 household, if one of the participants has complaints canceled than your reservation
In total, the game will take up to 2.5 hours.
The prices are listed as follows

If the groups are larger, the waiting times will become too long.
Start times The Bar on Sunday to Friday are: 12 a.m. / 3 p.m. / 6 p.m./ 9 p.m.
Start times The Bar on Saturday are: 12 a.m. / 3 p.m. / 6 p.m./ 9 p.m.
For each group, we need one person’s telephone number beforehand who can also be reached on the day itself.
